Classic Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting is great on its own, but you can always add your own unique twist on it with powdered dehydrated fruit, fruit purée, sprinkles, or crushed nuts!







Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter (1 cup), softened

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 4 cups confectioners sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)


Directions:

  1. Beat the cream cheese and butter separately for a minute before combining them.

  2. Whip on medium speed for 4-1o mins (depending on how fluffy you want your frosting).

  3. Sift in confectioners sugar, and add in vanilla

  4. Beat for a minute, or however long it takes for the confectioners sugar to fully incorporate.

  5. Spread or pipe onto any cake, cookie, or treat you desire!
